About the Foundation
The Reece Foundation works with volunteer tradies and our project partners to fund and initiate projects locally and abroad to provide clean water and sanitation where it is needed to create long-lasting change.
Yes, we're a registered chartity with the Australian and Not-for-Profits Commission. While Reece is an important partner of the Foundation, we are an independant chaity and endorsed as a Deductable Gift Recipient.
Volunteering
If you're a tradesperson that wants to use your skills to make a difference in communities, then you're elible to apply for a volunteering assignment! All of our volunteer assignments are advertised here. If there are no vacant volunteer roles but you're interested in hearing about future opportunities, submit an expression of interest form on the Contact page.
It depends on the type of project and role you're applying for. Our volunteering assignments may range from a few days to one week, or up to three months, depending on the needs of the community we are supporting. We communicate the amount of time required with every role we advertise.
Reece Foundation Grant
The Reece Foundation support WASH projects that connect skilled volunteer tradespeople to communities in need of access to water and sanitation and/or irrigation and water solutions to food insecurity, both in Australia and overseas.
Grant applications are assessed quarterly. To apply, visit the Get Involved page. Before you apply you will need:
- To review our assessment criteria to help you prepare your submission
- Be a not-for-profit organisation or community group or individual or group of individuals sponsored by a not-for-profit or community organisation
- Have details regarding the specific opportunity you are asking funding for (including project timelines & budgets)
Grants awarded range between $5,000 - $30,000. When applying, you can request an amount that falls anywhere within that range, provided you've demonstrating how the funding will be used to meet the above assessment criteria.
No, the purpose of the Reece Foundation Grant is to provide access to water & sanitation to support better health in communities.
All Grant applicants will receive an email notification to confirm the application has been received. Successful Grant recipients will then be contacted directly by the Reece Foundation team. If your application was unsucessful this time around, we'll send you an email to let you know.
Donations
You can donate to the Reece Foundation by clicking here or at any Reece branch around the country (coming soon).
Yes, The Reece Foundation is a registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient status. Any donation made to the Reece Foundation is eligble to be claimed tax deduction. However, you'll need to make sure you retain your donation receipt.
