NSW Flood Disaster Recovery Efforts

LOCATIONLismore, New South WalesDRIVEN BYResilient Lismore

On 28 February 2022, floods inundated Lismore and the rest of the Northern Rivers region. This disastrous weather event destroyed thousands of homes across the region, leaving the residents homeless, displaced or living in poor conditions.

Project

The disaster recovery efforts are an enormous task and The Reece Foundation are proud to partner with Resilient Lismore to connect to essential water and sanitation services to those that are displaced or vulnerable because of the floods, to get them safely back in to their homes again.

This project will involve two phases:

Phase One - We've had 5 amazing tradies help us scope the work required to get people back into their homes and work with Reece to create material lists & quotes.

Phase Two - We're calling on 10 tradies to deliver restore essential services to up to 30 homes, commencing 20th February 2023
